Couch Clips music video forum will be hitting play at Melbourne multimedia bar LOOP on October 30th. The night will feature presentations from a selection of Australia’s most prominent musicians, artists and producers of music videos. With a focus on concept creation, Couch Clips will be a great chance to make connections and hear stories told from both sides of the camera. Go behind the scenes with presentations from Natasha Pincus (Gotye, The Paper Kites, Powderfinger), Tooth and Claw productions (Snakadaktal, John Steel Singers, Megan Washington), Sydney visual artists turned dream-pop duo Ginger and The Ghost plus musician and film maker Glenn Mossop (Bonjah). The rest of the evening will feature amazing music and awesome video clips from across the globe being played up on the big screen. Jump onto the Couch Clips Facebook page to have your say because the DJ is taking requests. Get inspired, rub shoulders, ask questions and make connections in a night dedicated to uniting independent film-makers and musicians.
LOOP bar is located at 23 Myers Place, Melbourne CBD. Doors open at 6:30, tickets $15 or $12 concession available from Moshtix.
