The first line up announcement for the second annual Mountain Sounds Festival has dropped this morning, and it boasts a pretty outrageous collection of local talent for a variety of genres. This is the second lap around the block for the sustainable boutique event, and with a line up as diverse as this, and the festival placed in the harmonious surroundings of Mount Penang Parklands in Kariong, NSW, halfway between Sydney and Newcastle, festival goers from all walks have the opportunity to take in the natural beauty and cultural delights of the Central Coast while finding something to enjoy musically.
This year the festival will be featuring ever present festival favourites DZ Deathrays, electronic wunderkid Kite String Tangle, Melbourne based party starters Northeast Party House as well as the brilliance of D.D Dumbo, The Griswolds, East, Hatch, Carmada, The Jungle Giants, Kilter, Daniel Lee Kendall, Luke Million, Pepa Knight, SAFIA, Tkay Maidza, Tropical Zombie as well as an assortment of electronic sets from Coda, Harper, Lemond, Ratlife DJ’s, Stephanie 1993, Sydney Social DJ’s and Zavier.
